Gay Fashion Style

We had our third and last observation on September 20, 2015 Sunday. I interviewed four gays. During the interview, I asked several questions about our topic which is Fashion.


First Interviewee

Jason Ibañez, 17, years old.












*What is Fashion for you?
"Fashion is my way to express my self."

*Did someone influenced you in your style of fashion? if yes, who?
"Yes! the one who influenced me is Lady Gaga"

*Why Lady Gaga?
"Because i like her style."

                                                Who is Lady Gaga?

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was on March 28,1896, popularly known for her satge name “Lady Gaga” is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

 is noted for her diverse contributions to the music industry via her self-empowering messages, fashion, and live performances. With global album and single sales of 28 million and 140 million respectively, as of April 2015, she is one of the best-selling musicians of all time. Her achievements include 13 Guinness World Records, 6 Grammy Awards, and a Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Contemporary Icon Award-first artists ever to win-for “attaining an iconic status in pop culture”. She regularly appears on Billboard’s Artists of the year lists and Forbes’s power and earnings rankings. In 2013, time listed gaga as one of the Most Influential People of the Decade. Outside of her music, she is noted for her philanthropic endeavors and social activism, including LGBT rights and HIV/AIDS prevention. In 2012, gaga established the Born This Way Foundation (BTWF), a non-profit organization that focuses on youth empowerment.

"Yes, Ylona"

"Because she has a unique style."




Who is Ylona?

Ylona Jade Garcia, 13 year old, from Australia. She is a Filipino-Australian and one of the Housemates of Pinoy Big Brother 737.Both of her parents are practitioners in the medical field, but she has more interest in the performing arts. She had previously performed with Martin Nievera, Sarah Geronimo, and Bamboo Mañalac. While she is becoming prominent within the Filipino community in Australia, she still has a lot to learn about Filipino Culture, especially the Filipino Language. Ylona was first nominated on the week 2, and was nominated again for another week, but she survived the public bote. On week 4, she was nominated after failing to win the immunity challenge. She got a chance to be saved by the winning team, but the team chose bailey. She was saved from evicted after kyle made a voluntary exit. On the week 5, her group, the Dream team, won the majority of the votes for their performances in the Big-Ating Concert thus, being granted immunity along with Franco and Bailey. She was nominated on the week 6. On the Day 49, she was named after a finalist with 19.84% of the net vote. She exited the House on Day 50. She returned to the House on Day 99 and will continue the battle untill the Big night.

The last two interviewee doesn't want us take a photos of them. What I did was i just gathered some of their information as well as their answers to my questions.

"it is an individual way of dressing to express him/herself.
*Did someone influenced you in your style of fashion? if yes, who?
"Not really because for me, i have my own style."

"Yes, My sister."
*Why your sister?
"Because she is a fashonista and i like the way she dress herself that's why she influenced me."
  Based on what i have observed and heard about their answers Celebrities really have a big impact on people's lives in terms of Fashion styles. Their influences inspires individual to express their selves in a way that would meet their satisfactions. I also realized that fashion can be inherited from the other person. Gays also have their own definition and style in terms of fashion.
